That time of the year, has again arrived. Yes, it's the time for the Annual show of Lai Haraoba. And yes, it turns 8 this year.
Happy birthday my dream child. You never fail to amaze me with your ever growing wings!
I believe more in quality than quantity.
Some students are forced from their family to join a dance class and they also create an impression of 'dance' being an extra curricular activity. As a result of which, students are not focused in learning the art and most of the times they treat this as a fun class.
I agree; dance should be fun;a source of liberation and enjoyment but if it is not taken seriously at all or not practised at home it becomes a very casual affair. And I, as a teacher is completely against this approach.
I discourage students to join my class if they only consider it as a fun activity.
It cannot be your source of recreation.
Trust me, it is as important as your academics.
I am happier with a small bunch of serious learners than a huge group of casual students.
I request all the students and their parents to take any kind of art seriously and worship it with full passion and patience. It is bound to give you good results in future.
